Total Spoof in Bb. Pilipinas 2008!
I’m shocked. That was my initial reaction when I saw this young girl at 17 boasting she’s not pressured even when she grabbed the awards for Best in Swimsuit and Best in Evening Gown awards of the Bb. Pilipinas 2008. This was during the Top 10 Finalists Q&A part of the show.
I said to myself: “she does deserve neither to be crowned nor on the top 10.” Why? A role model should not boast some things especially when you have not done it yet.
And oh, it was a total spoof! When comes a question thrown by one of the female judges: “What is the role of your family as the Bb. Pilipinas rep?” Goodness sake, she uttered all the nonsense things in the world and even reasoned out her age at 17 and being in her first time in pageants. Oh my gosh!
Lesson: Always make sure your feet is on the ground!
