I can’t believe I missed four days in the blogosphere that seems that I am the only one who have not posted this much talked about bloggers’ event — 2nd Mindanao Bloggers Summit in General Santos City  held last October 25 and 26, 2008. Unfortunately I got sick (sa kakiat cguro…lolz) but now obviously I’m back and I won’t miss to post this wonderful experience I had during the summit.

Yes, like any other blogging events, if you speak of fun — indeed it was but let me talk first about what I have learned during the Mindanao Bloggers Summit.  The summit’s theme is “Mindanaowon, Paminawon Intawon”or in English layman’s term (IMO) — Let The Mindanao Voices Be Heard. It was a summit for a noble cause. A  summit to lift up Mindanao Bloggers’ voices and above all, lift up the name of Mindanao — as The Promised Land, a wonderful place to live in, the wonderful people in Mindanao and not just being bombarded with the biases from TV News programs and other newspaper headlines talking about all sorts of crimes and war in Mindanao.

Here’s a simple challenge I would like to share to all of you. This challenge was given to me by my father and I just love to share it to you too.

In the town of PuzzleLand, there lives childhood sweethearts, Anne and ALexis. They grew up and pursued each others’ dreams. Anne became a Chemist while Alexis became a wizard Mathematician. Their lives turned as what they wanted to be and they got married. They had their first child and named it “IRON59″. IRON59 for them is significant because it represents each other’s strength and expertise in their chosen fields.

The Challenge Is: Translate “IRON59” into a popular English name! Remember, IRON59 is the name of their child representing the parents’ expertise of their chosen fields!

Max Payne is coming on theaters this October 17, 2008 Friday.  This is directed by John Moore starring Mark Wahlberg.  Below is the plot of Max Payne.

TV Patrol World broadcast tonight the possible romantic relationship between Anne Curtis and Jericho Rosales while the taping for their movie, Baler.

Jericho Rosales and Anne Curtis team up in the official entry of Viva Films to the 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), Baler.

The period in Philippine history known as the Siege of Baler is the setting of this forbidden love story between an Indio soldier (Jericho) and a Filipina lass (Anne) who lived at the end of the 19th century.

The cast includes Baron Geisler, Bernard Palanca, Carlo Aquino, DJ Durano, Joel Torre, Mark Bautista, Michael de Mesa, and Ryan Eigenmann. It opens in theaters on December 25, 2008.

The intrigues involving singers Ronnie Liang and Sarah Geronimo finally came to an end. Now, there’s no stopping Liang as he once again enters the world of acting.
