Max Payne is coming on theaters this October 17, 2008 Friday. This is directed by John Moore starring Mark Wahlberg. Below is the plot of Max Payne.
Maverick cop Max Payne (Mark Wahlberg) is hell-bent on revenge against those responsible for the brutal murder of his family and partner. His obsessive investigation takes him on a nightmarish journey into a dark underworld. As the mystery deepens, Max is forced to battle enemies beyond the natural world and face an unthinkable betrayal.

i suspect the storyline for Max Payne is a lot more exciting when it’s happening in the form of a video game… except for those few exciting parts that i already saw in the preview, it was a snoozefest

Max Payne does a better job of selling you on what it could’ve been than it does of actually being the slightest bit entertaining. From the looks of it, the atmosphere and look of the movie will be very authentic, right down to Matrix-like comic book framed shots and of course, plenty of bullet time.
