Valentine’s Day is fast upcoming in just two nights from now and I have always been thinking of what’s the best story to perfectly match this Valentine’s season.
Well, if I were to feature my own love story, OMG! A single blog post won’t really be enough and I often find it hard summarizing because I’m just so eager to share every details.
Gladly that I have finally decided! I may not be able to feature my own love story but here’s something worth noting for and I think it’s the best story to be shared today.
Valentine’s Day Special:Liz Kelly, Donated her kidney to her fiancé
In light of Valentine’s Day, our team thought it was only fitting that we introduce you to a young person who loves. Liz Kelly met her fiancé, Matt, almost nine years ago working at a clothing store. They fell fast in love.
In October of 2007, Matt became very sick. Doctors eventually determined that he had congestive heart failure they attributed to bad kidney function. He needed a donor. Liz wanted to get him to the top of the list by donating her own kidney to someone, never thinking they would be a match.
Liz, 29, remembers when she heard they were, in fact, a match. “I said, ‘Of course we are. How could we not be a match?’” Her doctors told her she had a big kidney for her size, perfect for Matt. Maybe it was always meant for him. Maybe it was meant that they share a kidney and a heart.
They hope to get married this summer, when they are both done recovering.

These young people really rocks! It was really fascinating for me to find such in loved couple in this inspiring story. It proves that love is still existing despite of the featured stories told in magazines, tv and internet who most young people are just so lustful to really fall in love. It’s a story reminding us how beautiful it is to love and be loved. It is indeed a story which is just so perfect to be featured for this Valentine’s Day Special.
PS: My best wishes for all couples out there and Advance Happy Valentine’s Day to all!

What a beautiful story. The news should have more stories like this every day to counteract all the negative news they print. Best of luck to the couple very touching.

I agree Sparks. I think 90% of the articles/news I read everyday talks about how just gloomy our days are because of this world crisis — most of the time we have taken for granted positive oriented stories. These stories and a lot more of inspiring stories out there will help us to stay positive and successfully thrive from this.
Btw, thanks for dropping by Sparks!
