Gretchen Barretto Supports Her Sister’s Decision to Accept Movie Offer from Viva Films
Claudine Barretto is set to do a movie with Viva Films. She accepted Viva Film’s proposal since she hasn’t had any movie offer from Star Cinema for three years already. Her last project with Star Cinema was the 2006 Horror movie, Sukob. Her sister Gretchen on the other hand supports her sister’s decision.
Gretchen has a big trust with her sister’s decision. Knowing the fact that Claudine has been in the business since she was young, she already know what is best for her career.
“Pagdating kasi sa pelikula, ayokong nakikialam kasi mahirap na unless humihingi siya ng advice sa akin.. Magaling naman si Claudine sa pagdedesisyon ‘di ba? Kaya nga siya si Claudine Barretto,” Gretchen explained in an interview.
Regarding the report that Claudine is bitter with ABS-CBN for not being offered with a film, Gretchen remained silent. She could not comment on that report to show respect to her younger sister.
“Hindi ko naman kasi tinatanong kung masama ang loob niya. Ayoko naman kasing i-touch ‘yung topic na hindi niya binubuksan. Sensitive ‘yung topic… para may respeto naman.”, she further stressed.
On the other hand, Gretchen and Claudine will be together in one of Kapamilya Teleserye. They are slated to do a teleserye together and this is a very big project for both of them. Gretchen agreed to a lower talent fee for a project.
“Kasi ang importante sa akin magkasama kami ng kapatid ko,” Gretchen reasoned.
Gretchen is very excited with this upcoming teleserye with her sister.
“Basta sinabi ko sa kanya (Claudine), ‘Gawin mo ‘tong teleserye with me kasi excited na excited na ako at marami talagang naghihintay.” , she said.
In fact she is already preparing for this big project.
“Panay ang exercise ko, panay ang paghahanda ko, panay ang pagta-Tagalog ko kaya kailangan mag-umpisa na kami.”
