Mozilla Firefox Celebrates 5 Years of Existence
It has been 5 years when Mozilla launched Firefox version 1.0 in the web market. Since then, we have been a living witness on how this web browser sprout from the bottom to the tops as it is becoming more popular in the web market. I may say that Firefox triggers the browser market because of its popularity. Everybody would agree that the development in the browser market opens the gateway for better web browsing.
Five years ago, the launch of Firefox has been an alternative to Mozilla Suite’s browser. It was called Phoenix then as it was seen as a rebirth. We are not aware that the first Phoenix binaries have been released since 2002, earlier than what we all know.
Firefox spearheaded the idea of tabbed browsing in 2003. At first, they thought it was not a good idea. But if you are going to look at it now, people found it better than any other web browsing features. Other features include popup blocking and autocompletion.
In web browser’s market, all features are now turning into reality. Few years ago, it was only a dream, a dream that was first seen by Mozilla Firefox.
