The New Friendster
I was shocked when I opened my Friendster account this morning. I just thought of checking if I entered the correct URL because it has a different skin now. The social-networking pioneer Friendster comes in a new design. The interface has been changed and it has added some feature which is I think a complete rip-off from its competitor Facebook.The Friendster social networking has been a total craze for Asian youth market years ago, However, there’s a sudden demographic this year due to the release of a more innovative and more interactive social networking such us Facebook, Multiply and Twitter. According to Reuters, by the end of the month, Friendster may be sold to an Asian buyer for at least $100 million- not bad.
Friendster still exists and will continue to exist. If you are into social networking, you would probably agree that Friendster is the one who set the trend for Social Networking. It is just an unfortunate case for them because their sudden popularity has quickly faded. Currently, Friendster has 75 million registered users but no record of how many are still active. 90% of Friendster user came from the Asia-Pacific Region.
The newly revamped Friendster has added some features which are present in other existing Social Media who surpassed its existence and popularity. Some of these features are social-gaming craze: a virtual currency, an array of games, and virtual gifts.
Richard Kimber, the Friendster CEO, has confirmed to Reuters that they are currently looking for a buyer, the investment bank Morgan Stanley had been hired to handle the sale.

I was also surprised when I checked my Friendster account! It was a total makeover! Design, features, a whole lot of new stuff! They actually made a big move and I hope it is a positive one! Goodluck Friendster!

photos getting bigger, why green? hmmm can’t get it..
found it cool but it should be user-friendly.. i find it hard awhile ago, looking for the tab in setting up primary photo.. i just messed up..whew! hehehe
i don’t like it much because i could no longer see my lay-outs..bad bad bad.. hopefully friendster could fix it up!

pinagkaiba nia lng xa fb is,
xa fb dhi pwedeng lagyan ng layout ung profile mo , although pwede nmn xa kya lang kelangan ng app for it to work .. xa fs khit walang app pwedeng lgyan ng layout
and then xa fb mas maganda ung mga games , like Farmville .. etc .

It was just my classmate who told that friendster upgraded.. But I think, they made the right decision to upgrade it.. but I’m still loyal to facebook.. hehehe..
