Avatar- A Must See Cameron’s Film
People have been waiting for so long for the blockbuster movie Titanic director James Cameron’s return. Finally, the long wait is over. Cameron returns with a new movie which is considered to be the most expensive movie ever made. The price tag of the movie is about $200 million. It is a 3-D epic which is about the story of a human transformed into an extraterrestrial form.
Avatar is an action adventure fantasy movie directed by James Cameron. The Titanic director will take us to a world of unknown which exists beyond our imagination. It is a story of a reluctant hero from the moon Pandora who took the journey towards deliverance and discovery. He portrays a heroic role as he led the battle to save their race.
Jake Sully, the hero in the movie, is an ex-Marine who was injured and paralyzed. His participation in an avatar program will give him a healthy body. But in order to participate in such program, he must travel to Pandora, a rainforest environment where creatures with incredible forms exist. Pandora is a place where creatures called Na’vi live. The Na’vi is a humanoid race, they are ten feet tall and blue skinned. They are living peacefully and harmoniously in Pandora.
As humans intruded Pandora to search for valuable minerals, the existence of the Na’vis is threatened. Jake Sully was recruited to become part of this encroachment but he is not completely aware about this program. Humans cannot breathe the air on Pandora, so they have created genetically-bred human-Na’vi hybrids to make their encroachment program possible. These hybrids are now known as Avatars. The Avatars are living people in real world which are controlled by human driver. There is a technology that links the driver’s mind to the Avatar’s body. Jake gained his Avatar body and he was able to get his full health through that body. In the journey towards discovery and survival, Jake will accidentally fall in love with a young Na’vi woman named Nevtiri.
As Jake is becoming used being a member of the Na’vi clan, he will soon need to take side between the military-industrial forces of earth and the Na’vi. He will decide to take side in a battle between humans and Na’vis.
Truly, a must see movie before the year ends.
