Google Phone on Testing Stage

The search engine giant Google is about to invade mobile device. It was just a speculation before, but now that Google has handed out the new mobile device to its employees, we know for sure that Google Phone is for real.

Last Saturday, Google handed out the mobile device to Google employees for testing. This mobile device is running via the Android operating system. This is in connection to Google’s goal to invade the wireless market. This seems to be a direct competition with Apples’s iPhone.

Google employees who are currently testing the Google Phone will give their quick feedback about this new technology. If the feedback is positive, Google will probably sell the phone directly to the consumers. They are planning not to deal with wireless carriers anymore. This would mean that Google would go head-to-head with its competitor.

On a blog post of Mario Queiroz, vice president of the product management, he wrote:

“We recently came up with the concept of a mobile lab, which is a device that combines innovative hardware from a partner with software that runs on Android to experiment with new mobile features and capabilities, and we shared this device with Google employees across the globe. This means they get to test out a new technology and help improve it.”

There is no further information yet as to how Google phone works, but they will soon reveal more details about this new technology. They are still on the final phase of testing. Expect for more buzz about this new technology in the next few days.
