“Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” Topbills Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson
ABS-CBN has an upcoming drama series. The title of the new telenovela in Kapamilya network is “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo”. This drama will be aired in primetime and one of one of ABS-CBN’s special offerings for the 60th Year of Philippine Soap Opera. The Kapamilya Network offers this star-studded teleserye to celebrate the 60 years of soap opera on television.
The successful love team of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson will be featured in this drama series. The two had been together in different drama series and their fans out there never fade to support their love team. Aside from the fact that Kim and Gerald have the chemistry, they also have what it takes to become a superstar.
Kim Chiu will play the role of Gwen, a party animal and somewhat boyish. She always clashes with her mother Celine. But at the same time she is spoiled by her father Frank. Gwen always gets what she wants so she never values things that she owns.
Gerald Anderson on the other hand will play the role of Robbie. He is an idealistic young cop. He looks up to his brother-in-law Steve. Robbie is protective to his elder sister Celina, the wife of Steve. Robbie unconsciously looks for the traits of his sister in any girl that he meets
Along with Gerald and Kim, the upcoming teleserye will also star Gabby Concepcion, Coco Martin, Gina Pareño, Jaclyn Jose, Maricar Reyes, Albert Martinez and Ms. Kris Aquino.
The drama series has a tagline “Ang teleseryeng lalabag sa batas ng pagmamahal”. The title of the teleserye is based on classic ballad of Rey Valera.
“Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” will be aired on January 18, 2010.
