The proclamation of the winners is set today before the joint Congress, but it will not push through if there’s a lack of quorum.

Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay has been thankful to all his supporters especially Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero who emerged to convince more voters for him. After the endorsement of Chiz Escudero, Binay takes the lead in the survey leaving Roxas and Legarda behind the race.

Binay also thanked his mentors, former president Cory Aquino, Fernando Poe Jr., and former president Joseph Estrada. He has been very vocal how these people inspire him to serve the public. He also thanked his family, APO fraternity mates, mayors and local officials, and his volunteers who work hard for him during the campaign.

We have a new administration now. The people have sealed in the votes, and we have chosen Aquino and Binay to lead our governance for the next six years.
