Education graduates from all over the Philippines are now preparing for the 2nd Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) which is scheduled on September 26, 2010. The first Licensure Examination for Teachers has been held on April 2010.
The registration has been closed yesterday, July 16, 2010, so if you were not able to register on the said deadline, you may have to take your exam on the next schedule. As to date, there is no information from Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) if there’s any extension, but this is already far from possibility.
The Licensure Examination for Teachers is an examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to determine who among the education graduates in the Philippines are qualified to teach in schools. According to the law, only those who passed the examination are allowed to teach.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), an examinee must obtain an average rating of not less than 75 % and must have no rating lower than 50 % in any of the tests.
As per instruction from www.prc.gov.ph, an examinee must bring the following items during the examination:
• Notice of Admission
• Application Stub
• PRC Official Receipt
• Two or more pencils (No.2)
• Ballpens with BLACK INK ONLY
• One (1) piece Metered-Stamp Window Envelope
• One (1) piece Long Brown Envelope
• One (1) piece Long Transparent (non -colored) Plastic Envelope (to keep above items)
